Topics and policies of the journal

The absolute priority of the journal is the problems related to the processes of socialization, education and upbringing of rural children and youth both in Russia and abroad, development of interaction between rural educational organizations with other rural structures and social partners, and the training of teachers for the village.

The journal includes the following sections: “general pedagogy, history of pedagogy and education,” “theory and methodology of training and education,” “methodology and technologies of vocational education.”

The sections correspond to the branches of scientific knowledge – pedagogical sciences, and within the framework of these branches to specific scientific specialities.

In the “general pedagogy, history of pedagogy and education” section articles are published corresponding to the scientific speciality “general pedagogy, history of pedagogy and education” (5.8.1).

The “theory and methodology of training and education” section is intended for publishing materials on the scientific speciality “theory and methodology of training and education (by areas and levels of education)” (5.8.2).

In the “methodology and technologies of vocational education” section it is supposed to publish articles on the scientific speciality “methodology and technology of vocational education” (5.8.7).

The materials submitted to the journal are reviewed by members of the editorial board, which includes doctors of pedagogical, psychological sciences, known for their publications on the declared topic. When selecting articles, the editorial board is guided by the criteria for their compliance with the journal policy, declared scientific specialities. The submitted materials should be relevant and meet all the conditions for publishing an article in the scientific journal “Pedagogy of  rural school” and the requirements for the design of the manuscript.
